In the Music and Drama Club at NAIS, children explore the joy of music through singing and playing instruments in a vibrant group setting. They'll learn basic vocal techniques, harmonies, and rhythm while joining fun choir sessions or trying out instruments like keyboards, percussion, recorders, or ukuleles. Guided by passionate instructors, kids will practice songs from various genres, build musical confidence through games and exercises, and collaborate on group performances that spark creativity and a love for melody in an encouraging atmosphere.
Members will also immerse themselves in drama activities, rehearsing scenes, improvisation games, and short plays to develop acting skills, stage presence, and emotional expression. They'll create characters, work on scripts, design simple costumes or props, and perform in club showcases, fostering teamwork, public speaking, and storytelling abilities. This dynamic combination of music and drama not only enhances performing arts talents but also boosts self-esteem, empathy, and imaginative thinking for lifelong appreciation of the stage.
